A new and improved online self-booking system will be live from Wednesday, April 27th 2022 for blood tests at Singleton, Morriston, Neath Port Talbot and Bay Field Hospital. Please click the following link to book an appointment - You must have a blood form to book your appointment for a blood test.

If you can’t book online you can telephone 01792 601807, Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm. Tests for children aged under 12 are currently only available at Singleton Hospital, please call 01792 530636 to book.
Specimens
Specimens can be brought to the main surgery Monday - Friday before 11.00 or you can take them directly to Singleton Path Lab.
Results
You can submit a request on AskMyGP to check your results alternatively you can ring the surgery. If possible please call between 2.00pm - 5.00pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request during these times. There maybe times when the receptionist may not be able to answer any clinical questions and you maybe asked to call back to speak to a practice nurse or a follow up with the GP will be arranged..
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice. It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
