We are pleased to confirm that we are having an upgrade to the telephone system and moving to the latest cloud-based phone technology. The installation will take place on Monday 2nd December 2024.

Here’s what we can expect from the new system:

  • Announce queue position. A person's place in the queue is their true position, unlike the current system where patients may sit in a queue outside our system.
  • Call back option, retaining position in the queue and you will be called back when at the front of the queue.

The installation period should not impact or disrupt in any way your ability to contact the practice. Engineers will be onsite for the period of the installation and switchover.

  • In the unlikely event that you do experience any difficulties, it is likely to be temporary.
  • In this instance,e we would urge you to try again a short time later or submit any enquiries on AskMyGP. For prescriptions via the NHS App.
