The Sanctuary - Out of hours support to people at risk of mental health crisis.
The Sanctuary is an out-of-hours service that provides practical, therapeutic and holistic person-centred support to people at risk of mental health crisis.
The Sanctuary is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 6.00pm to 3.00am.
What the service offers
The service is set in a welcoming and homely environment, with a lounge area, kitchen and dining area, shower and clothes washing facilities.
There are also private areas for people who need quiet time or one-to-one support.
Who can be supported?
The Sanctuary can support people aged 17 years and 9 months or over living in Neath Port Talbot and Swansea who may be experiencing:
- difficulties or anxieties linked to the coronavirus pandemic
- stress or anxiety
- low mood
- financial worries
- loneliness or isolation
- family or relationship worries
- domestic violence
- deteriorating mental health for a range of reasons
The Sanctuary accepts self-referrals.
